About the Tutor and Performer
I am an experienced music teacher and performer who has worked for many years in schools developing my teaching skills and musical knowledge. I have a good understanding of a wide range of musical styles and periods in music history.
Music is a hugely significant part of my life. I have developed skills on a very wide range of instruments. These are:
- Piano
- Electronic Keyboard
- Organ
- Violin
- Electric 5-String Violin
- Viola
- Clarinet and Bass Clarinet
- Drum Kit
- Electric and Acoustic Guitar
- Tenor Steel Drum pans
I love performing music, whether this be as a soloist or as a member of an orchestra or other ensemble. I also enjoy composing and I am currently working on a project to compose some viola and keyboard music as well as music for two violas and 'cello.

I have Enhanced CRB clearance and have received Safeguarding training.
